Sami Pyörre

Sami Pyörre has started as ED Design’s CEO in December 2021.

Pyörre has worked at ED since 2003, with a previous tenure as CEO between 2011—2019. Pyörre’s return as CEO takes place after Mika Röykkee’s decision to take up new challenges.

A new Chairman of the Board has also been appointed. The position is now held by Tapani Hyvönen, one of the all-time greats of Finnish industrial design.

ED continues as one of the most significant Nordic industrial design agencies, having clients such as ABB, Molok, Valtra, and Viessmann. The focus of the company will remain in combining user-centric and future-driven design into concrete, feasible and viable solutions — always with top class Nordic design embedded.
